The TheraFlo AP Mattress Replacement System combines clinical innovation with intelligent comfort to deliver superior wound care therapy. Designed to support patients up to 450 kg, it provides exceptional pressure redistribution and microclimate management to promote healing and prevent pressure injuries.

Featuring the unique Pulsate mode, or Deep Breathing Exercise (DBE) mode, TheraFlo AP rhythmically adjusts air pressure to encourage deep respiration, improve oxygen saturation, and enhance tissue perfusion—helping shorten recovery time and optimize patient outcomes.

Carilex cares for our patients down to every last detail. For patients with sensitive skin conditions, negative microclimate can cause serious issues in developing pressure ulcers. Moisture on the skin can cause the skin to lose the dry outer layer and reduce tolerance of the skin for pressure and shear. It may also cause the bonds between epithelial cells to weaken, thus resulting in maceration.

TheraFlo AP Power Unit with IPS Technology and 3 Therapy Modes

The IPS Technology, Intelligent Pressure Sensing Technology, responds to patient movements on mattress by automatically adjusting internal mattress pressure, which allows TheraFlo AP to regulate airflow and continuously provide total envelopment for our patients. Carilex is the first brand in the industry to master IPS. This gives us more experience and vast knowledge in the technology that is years ahead of our competitors.

TheraFlo AP Power Unit also comes with sophisticated design providing 3 distinct therapy modes and complies with the highest standard of the Support Surface Standards Initiative (S3I) by the National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel (NPUAP).
